The Indiscriminate Killing Has To End… The Israeli military said Tuesday that its double strike on a Gaza hospital that killed 20 people targeted what it believed was a Hamas surveillance camera. But the first strike killed a cameraman from the Reuters news agency doing a live television shot, according to witnesses and health officials. I literally hate the word Collateral Damage, it’s typically used to dehumanize the killing of innocent civilians or noncombatants.
The Israeli military released its initial findings into the strike, offering no immediate explanation for striking twice and no evidence for an assertion that six of the dead were militants, including two who were identified by their employers as a health care worker at the hospital and an emergency services driver. The dead also included five journalists.

For those who aren’t familiar with the term “Soft Coup,” here are the differences in a Coup d’ Etat or Coup and a Soft Coup. All three are terms used to describe the undertaking and activity of taking over a government.
The more familiar coup d’ etat, commonly referred to simply as a coup, describes an illegal violent or forceful overthrow of the government that usually includes the military and police or outside militias.
A soft coup, sometimes referred to as a silent coup, is different. Unlike
a classical coup d’état, it is achieved without the use of force or overt violence. The rationale is that democracy should be a system where the general will must be absolute, and that the populist leader describes himself as the representative of the general will by virtue of having been elected by the people.
The “silent coup “ leaders feel that the will of the leader equals the general will, and that any limits on the will of the leader would be also a limit to the general will. Opposition to the leader is treated as an act against democracy, justifying persecution of the opposition, forced nationalizations and limits to freedom of speech and press.
The method was well planned, detailed and strategic. It took more than Trump himself to instigate this soft coup. While the foundation was laid many years ago, the final pieces were put in place with the development of Project 2025.
With the backing of The Heritage Foundation, oligarchs, Christian Nationalist, conservative corporations, fascist, misogynist, conspiracy theorist, racist, homophobes and the conservative press, the stage was set, and now Trump and his minions have put it in motion. We are facing a Soft Coup and the only way we can stop is at the polls. We must vote in numbers like never seen before if we want to end this threat.
America Falls… This Is Just Fiction It couldn’t happen here, our government has too many checks and balances, but just imagine how it could come about.
The long game starts years ago when robber barons and conservatives begin to realize their days of dominance are at risk. A more liberal and diverse society is demanding change. They want an end to female discrimination, racial segregation and social inequality. The white men in particular can’t bear the thought of losing control. They begin a political movement that uses the power of the government to push back against progressive policies. A deep state is formed that works its way into the very bowls of local, state and federal government.
It takes a while as Democrats begin to pass laws that support individual freedom and progressive social programs. Next come a series of leaders that appeal to the uneducated and fearful masses. They preach hate, tell lies and use distorted religious beliefs to create a divided society.
They struggle to take complete control for a while, however behind the scenes they are indoctrinating and manipulating the uninformed all along. They finally get more control and begin dismantling the American Dream.
The plutocrats join the oligarchs who in turn recruit the radical-right, Christian nationalists, misogynist, patriarchs and radicalized common citizens who now support their agenda… restructure America in their image.
Unfortunately checks and balances have also slowly eroded, too. The Supreme Court, many Federal judges, Congress and a number of state governments have given in to the cabal and green light most of their activities.
There’s still a progressive movement, but they’ve lost momentum and a clear vision. Less than half of American voters elect a populist tyrant and he immediately begins the purge.
All Hell… King Don MMXXV That’s right, not All Hail but All Hell. That’s what’ll break loose if this dope gets back in power.
We can expect the feudal system to return with Don as King. His Court will be packed with the most beautiful Illuminati featuring Melania as Queen of Tarts, Ivanka as the Royal Consort, Don Jr as the Duke of Oil, Eric as the Court Jester, Tiffany as the Exiled Princess and poor little Barron will become the unfortunate Bearer of the Family Jewels.
His Chief Counsel will be The Federalist Society and the Sherif of Notaham along with deputies will be former members of the Supreme Court. Their job is to make sure the King’s orders are followed to the letter.
Trumps High Priests will be those with the largest Heavenly Bank Accounts. The holiest men like Kennith Copeland and Joel Osteen will need to compete to see who can raise the most money for the Royal Coffers. They also must be supposed Christians who preach Nationalism with every breath and are willing to persecute non-Christians on a daily basis.
Everyone else will be considered lowly Peasants or Serfs, only suitable to enrich the King in any way he desires. If any commoner should disobeys the King’s wishes, they are to be punished to the full extent of his law; including locked in the dungeon, torture, execution and exile from the Kingdom.
All laws the King chooses to enact will only apply to others, of course Don the King enjoys absolute immunity from any consequences of his actions.
If this fable should come to pass, it, like all the Evil Kingdoms in the past, will fall and be remembered as a part of the Dark Ages where ordinary citizens were persecuted for their resistance to tyranny and pursuit of happiness.
OK, many of us have been trying to figure out what happened to the so-called reasonable republicans of days gone bye, the ones who weren’t rich, plain stupid, christian nationalists or nazis. Well, my wondering is over. They don’t exist any longer.
I believe the conservative politicians who once were somewhat reasonable people with a little bit of sense have gone completely power crazed. They know trump is a bum and a despicable human being, but they don’t care. They also know he doesn’t have many years left in that old dilapidated body of his.
A victory for trump would give them endless power to implement their agenda and take over the country with few legal constraints. They now have a conservative supreme court with lifetime powers and no enforceable code of ethics, and they have a congress so evenly divided that little progressive legislation ever has a chance of being passed. All they need now is a dictator who is immune to legal restraint.
This is what the conservatives have been attempting to accomplish for decades, and with trump as president, the final piece would fall into place.
Trump is no more than a temporary pawn in their game of thrones, a means to an end. They’ll have no use for him in the future. He’ll just become another political has-been who was used to help achieve the ultimate goal of total control of the country.
It’s a ruthless game with unlimited power as the prize, and they’ll stop at nothing to reap the rewards.
When conditions are right, a perfect storm will develop with the potential to destroy everything in its path. Today’s SCOTUS decision on Trump’s immunity may be the final element to unleash the mightiest storm to ever reach America’s shores.
Because of this Supreme Court decision, there is little chance of the most important Trump federal felony case going to trial before the election. Trump appointed Judge Canon has all the power to see the case never reaches trial, and she’ll use it if she can.
In addition, Trump’s Georgia election interference case is caught up in a quagmire due to a bad decision by the prosecutor. That case, too, is stalled out and dead in the water for now.
A trial, even without a conviction in either of those two cases could have been instrumental in preventing Trump from reaching the White House in 2025 and changing the course of the storm.
And finally, the big wind blowing; Biden’s performance in the debate was so poor that even many strong Democratic supporters are calling for his withdrawal. In addition, it’s not just the far-right press questioning his capacity, but some mainstream media outlets are reporting the story in a negative light.
Recent post debate polls are showing a decline in positive attitudes toward Biden by independents and undecideds. These are the two groups of voters who will make the difference in the election. If they swing toward Trump, he wins.
How do you stop a perfect storm? You can’t, it has to blow itself out or change course. If you’re in its path, you have to be prepared and protect yourself in every way possible.
We’re not yet in the eye of the storm with hopes of clear weather ahead, we’re facing its strongest winds and must make the best decisions for our survival.
People are wondering why so many people are having trouble making ends meet if the economy is doing so well. It’s simple, the federal minimum wage is stuck at $7.25 and most younger folks are making less than $20 an hour, paying significantly higher rent, having to use high interest credit cards to get by, and many are paying off exorbitant student loans. They don’t have social security, big stock portfolios, savings accounts to fall back on or home equity to borrow against. They are struggling.
Robert Reich recently said, “We’re paying a whopping 25% more for groceries than we did in 2019. In 2022, grocery prices rose more than they had in over 4 decades Inflation is cooling, but the prices keep going up.” And, it’s not just groceries, many corporations are seeing record profits that primarily come from price increases.

E. Jean Carroll just spoke out after today’s verdict, writing, “This is a great victory for every woman who stands up when she’s been knocked down, and a huge defeat for every bully who has tried to keep a woman down.”
I hope and wish others who have accused him would also feel some sense of satisfaction. He has been exposed as a sexual predator and will pay the price for his behavior.
No more, “grab them by the p***y” for him… and maybe a stern warning for any other pervert who thinks he can abuse a woman and get away with it.
Once Upon a Time, Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. Had a Dream. He dreamed of equality for all, He dream that love would overcome hate, he dreamed of a better America where social justice prevailed.
In his 1963 speech, made on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C., he said, “…So even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream. I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men [people] are created equal…”
I don’t think he even remotely dreamed of a day where Fascism and White Supremacy would be so close to actually ruling America. His dream was noble, his dream was hopeful, his dream was the essence of all that is good about Christianity.
If Make America Great Again (MAGA) wins, it would end his dream and turn this country into a Nightmare…
